This past weekend we attended the annual Bellevue XC Invitational at Lake Sammamish State Park. It was a beautiful fall day, and a superbly run meet meet with over 30 school and around 1200 athletes.
We talked to a ton of runners throughout the day, and it was so fun hearing how many of them ran personal records. That’s something we absolutely love about the sport. It doesn’t matter what place you come in. You can come in last and still set a PR! The kids were so proud with some of them running their fastest time ever by a few seconds and others by a few minutes.
We are looking forward to the rest of the season with many more personal records to come.
